A net positive — that's the mark I want to leave

My name is Momchil Krastev and I'm a broker and partner at Primo Plus Real Estate.

At its core, the idea of business is to give. It doesn't look that way at first — we talk about revenue, results, profit. But fundamentally, a business exists to give something to the people around it.

I've always made the important decisions in my life by instinct. And when it comes to causes, I'm surrounded by people I respect and whose way of thinking I follow. That's enough for me to get involved.

I believe we have to leave a mark on society that is positive. A net positive. Life is hard, but we can make it better — and that's the biggest mark any of us can leave behind.

I'd encourage companies of every size to take part. It may sound a little selfish, but when you tell yourself “part of my results goes straight to the good of someone I've never even met”, you become more motivated yourself. People feel it. And the spirit inside the company lifts.
