Warmth, food and dignity for people who have already given their share.
Winter is the longest month of the year when you're on your own. A pension covers medicines or firewood — rarely both. The people we're talking about don't complain; they simply cut back the heating, the food and going out, until there's nothing left to cut.
In November 2025, together with “I Know Your Soul”, we covered firewood for 7 households in the Cherven Bryag municipality. Before that — laundry detergent for the homes that run out of it first, and Christmas parcels for people whose holiday otherwise passes like any other day.
This isn't a big programme. It's a list of specific people and specific winters. We want the next one to be longer.
