Surya Foundation reports a BGN 1,274 donation in support of people with intellectual disabilities in Strazhitsa

The Surya Foundation successfully ran another charity initiative aimed at raising funds to buy a minibus for people with intellectual disabilities living in the sheltered community in Strazhitsa.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Salt&Art studio, Iskar district and donors from the community, BGN 1,274 was raised — and has now been officially donated to the foundation. As a thank-you for taking such an active part in the cause, the Surya Foundation presented Salt&Art with a certificate of participation in the campaign. It will be displayed in the studio as a symbol of solidarity and commitment to causes that matter to society.
“We're incredibly grateful to the clients, friends and teachers at Salt&Art for their generosity and support. It's an honour for us to work with partners who believe in the power of doing good and turn it into real action,” the Surya Foundation team said.
The campaign is part of the foundation's wider mission to create sustainable solutions in support of vulnerable social groups, through cooperation with local communities and engaged citizens.
