New medical equipment for the Sheltered Home in Strazhitsa

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Sheltered Home for people with intellectual disabilities in Strazhitsa has received several important things that will make day-to-day life noticeably better.
Among them is a new set of parallel bars — essential for regular exercises, and intended mainly for the physiotherapy of one of the young residents, Stoyan, who has severe physical disabilities and uses a wheelchair. As much as he needed it, equipment like this simply wasn't available before.
Again, thanks to donations from people loyal to SURYA's causes, a medical filing cabinet and a first-aid kit were delivered too. Where the medicines used to be kept in an old, falling-apart wardrobe, they'll now be properly stored and organised — kept safer and easier to keep track of.
This is a quiet kind of success, but a meaningful one — a real example of how shared care and unity lead to genuine change in the daily lives of people who need special care and attention. Thank you to everyone who gave money and kindness to make life better for everyone at the sheltered home in Strazhitsa.
