On 16 November at 6 pm, at the Space on 7 Sheynovo Street, floor 2, Surya Foundation held the charity event "An Evening of Light and Music" — a quiet but powerful meeting between music, human kindness and a cause.
The evening began with a warm welcome, drinks and little bites, to the sounds of gentle piano music performed by Orlin Ivanov. From the very first minutes, the atmosphere drew guests into a sense of calm, closeness and openness.
The official opening included a welcome from the founders of Surya Foundation, who shared the mission, the journey and what we've achieved so far, as well as where the Foundation is heading next. The musical part of the evening brought real inspiration through performances by Maria Onda and her students from the MuzArto Artistic Academy, who weaved folk, pop and jazz together in an emotional and moving way.
In the special moment "Help us help", guests heard a personal story from someone involved in the Foundation's projects, followed by an open conversation about future initiatives and ways to get involved. The conversations were honest, and the interest was alive and engaged.
The second musical set brought the focus back to music and its deep effect — through instrumental piano performances by Orlin Ivanov and more touching pieces from Maria Onda.
The event closed with informal conversations, a cocktail and photos at the "Share the Light" photo corner — a place for smiles, memories and a sense of community.
"An Evening of Light and Music" once again showed that when people come together with intention and care, the light doesn't just get lit — it stays.
