On 15 November, the Space on 7 Sheynovo Street became a place for stillness, movement and deep presence during the charity afternoon "The Sound of Inner Peace", organised by Surya Foundation.
The event began with a yoga practice led by Gergana Simeonova, where movement and breath wove together with the rhythm of sound. The practice helped people release tension, reconnect with their bodies and gently slip into a quieter, more mindful state.
Next came a sound meditation with Tibetan bowls and gong, led by Igi Andreeva. Immersion in the sound vibrations brought deep relaxation and a real sense of inner calm — you could feel it across the whole room.
The second part of the afternoon was given over to a charity brunch — delicious vegetarian and vegan food, herbal teas and drinks, shared in a relaxed and easy atmosphere. This time made space for conversations, new friendships and a real sense of community.
The discussion "The Power of Sound in Yoga and Meditation", moderated by Kaloyan Georgiev — Nataraj, opened up space for questions, personal experience and inspiration. A short sound meditation that followed turned attention inward once more and closed the day with a feeling of wholeness and harmony.
The event ended with kirtan — heart-centred musical yoga, led by the group "Aradhana". Group singing built up a powerful sense of connection, joy and shared energy that stayed with people long after the programme finished.
"The Sound of Inner Peace" was a day full of stillness, meaning, delicious food and heartfelt encounters — a reminder that when you slow down and come together with intention, peace becomes something you can actually feel.
