Christmas in a Box 2025 — the sequel

Thank you to every donor who chose, bought and wrapped a gift for each child with care — you became Santa's real elves.

About this cause

Thank you to every donor who chose, bought and wrapped a gift for each child with attention and heart — you became Santa's real elves. Your generosity made sure every wish on the list came true. But the need for support remains — you can now help with the homes' shared needs: food, hygiene supplies, bed linen, appliances, household items and more.

How it works: pick as many items as you like from the centres' lists of needs; prepare and pack the products for each centre together, labelling the package clearly with the centre's name and town; then send it, or bring it in person during office hours, to the Surya Foundation office at 88 Knyaz Alexander Dondukov Blvd., 8th floor, Sofia — by 24 December. Or make a donation: the funds buy presents for children who haven't received one, and cover shared needs like food, appliances, hygiene supplies and bed linen. And share the campaign — the further it reaches, the more the good multiplies.

We will bring joy to 150 children from 13 social services in 7 towns and villages.

Your support through these shared needs is what keeps the homes where these children and young people live warm, safe and ready for everyday life. The centres care for children without parents, young people and people with disabilities with great attention and love — but on tight budgets. Shared donations help provide better care, a feeling of home, respect and dignity — not only on holidays, but every day. Thank you for being part of “Christmas in a Box”!
