A Christmas gift for children in need

About this cause

There's something magical about knowing that one small gesture can make the holiday unforgettable for a child in need. Every smile and every spark of hope shows us that together we can build a better community of dignified people. This Christmas, be part of that magic for the 160 children from low-income families at the “Masha Belmustakova” centre for personal development in the village of Borovan. For the youngest — 16 boys and 21 girls up to 3rd grade — we want to provide new backpacks full of everything school takes: a pencil case, pencils, erasers, pens, notebooks and drawing pads. For the older children up to 7th grade — 76 boys and 47 girls — personal hygiene kits: a toiletry bag, comb or hairbrush, nail clippers, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and deodorant, with room for a perfume or a large towel. Every detail builds confidence and teaches the value of personal care.

You can donate money or buy a gift yourself — either way you support these children's self-esteem and dignity. Christmas magic happens when we stand together: donate, share the campaign, and help us bring joy and confidence to the children of Borovan. Gift ideas from the centre's director: a school backpack with a filled pencil case, or a sports outfit and trainers for the younger ones; toiletry kits for the older ones.
