Christmas in a Box for children and youth without parents

We collect the gifts you buy and hand them to every child at Christmas.

КОЛЕДА В КУТИЯ за деца и младежи без родители

About this cause

We will collect the gifts you buy and hand them to every child at Christmas. We'll take plenty of photos and share that special moment, full of the sound of torn wrapping paper and happy shouts.

If you'd like to become one of Santa's magic elves for a child growing up without parents, just sign up.

You can also support the drive with a donation, which we'll use to buy a present for any child who might otherwise be left without an elf.

Whatever remains goes towards shared needs of the children that state budgets don't stretch to cover — and towards a small symbolic gift for the devoted staff of these homes.

Each participant becomes one of Santa's elves and grants the wishes from one child's letter to the white-bearded old man. We will bring joy to 100 children from 9 social services in 6 towns and villages across the country — family-type care homes in Veliko Tarnovo, Gavril Genovo, Samokov, Berkovitsa and Vratsa, a transitional home in Vratsa, and the sheltered home for people with intellectual disabilities in Strazhitsa. If you want to be the personal Christmas elf of one or more children who have no mum and dad — to make their holiday and let them feel like any other child with a family — join “Christmas in a Box”.

Let's build one big winter cloud of joy together!
